The Cocopah Indian Tribe Office of Emergency Management ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cocopah Ready mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.
By using Cocopah Ready, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you enable push notifications, your device generates a unique token that allows us to send emergency alerts to your device. This token is stored on our servers solely for the purpose of delivering notifications. The token does not contain personal identifying information.
If you submit an emergency report, the app may request access to your device's location. This information is included with your report to help emergency responders locate you. Location data is only collected when you actively submit an emergency report and grant permission.
When submitting an emergency report, you may choose to attach photos from your device. These photos are transmitted with your report to provide visual information to emergency responders. We only access photos you explicitly select to share.
If you submit an emergency report, you may optionally provide your name, phone number, and email address. This information is used solely to follow up on your emergency report if needed.

Push notification tokens are stored on secure servers operated by the MGM Internet Solutions. Emergency reports and any associated data are stored securely and accessed only by authorized emergency management personnel.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Push notification tokens are retained as long as you have the app installed and notifications enabled. If you uninstall the app or disable notifications, your token will become inactive.
Emergency reports and related data are retained in accordance with tribal records retention policies and applicable law.

Our app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.
